August 2025 Favorites + Happenings

As Miss Taylor Swift Says, August slipped away into a moment in time. It feels like this month really did. I felt so comfortable at my new job. I also felt really seen and appreciated, and I can’t say that is the same for all aspects of my life.

Outfit of the days

This Month, we had so many hot days. That means my normal attire was some short of shorts. I typically had my work uniform on (which is literally just my work shirt and whatever shorts/pant I want to wear). I did have a couple pool days, and those outfits are always nice.

Beauty

I have been loving my Sunbum Face sunscreen. It helps protect my face very well. I have also been using a new Hair Mask from Fenty Hair and I certainly see a difference in the softness and shininess of my hair.

Entertainment

This month I was working on one work. Famous in Love by Rebecca Serle. So far it has been pretty good, I just didn’t get it finished because of how busy it’s been.

I have also been watching Law and Order: SVU, and have enjoyed it so far.

August Reflections

To stay August was busy is an understatement. From working, to moving, to the normal happenings of life and getting ready to go back to school, I sometimes feel like I’m running around with a chicken with my head cut off.

I have been able to stay caught up with my content on TikTok and I’m starting to Blog again.

I was able to move and let go of what I left behind in Corvallis. I am working on getting my teaching license and have continued my teaching journey.

September Goals and Manifestations

This month I hope to reach 700 followers on TikTok. I also hope to post three blog posts per week. I want to be able to reach 1000 followers on TikTok by the end of the year.

I’ll be spending time this month teaching, creating content, and coaching sports.

Life Lately

I did a lot of working during the month of August, but I also did some playing.
