July 2023 Recap

————————–August 1, 2023—————————-

Here I’ll look back at July 2023, and recap some of my favorites from the month, as well as my goals for August.

July was a month full of both happiness and sadness. I got to see many friends, attend the fair and help there, take a bunch of great photos, and make great memories. But we also lost my grandpa this month. Navigating that with everything else is really difficult. I think the hardest thing for me other than accepting all the things he will miss, is how I’m supposed to act around my siblings and cousins. Being the oldest grandchild, and being the only grandchild present when he passed, it was hard to know just what to say and how to behave. It was hard to navigate, and it still is, but I know we will endure and survive. That’s what he would have wanted.

Fashion

Between Fourth of July and Fair, I wore just about every kind of outfit imaginable.

Entertainment

This month I was reading Seven Days in June and Steven King books.

I finished watching The Last of Us.

I listened to a lot of sad songs this month, just because of the circumstances of the month.

July Reflections

This month was a rough one. There was a lot going on, lots of busy days, but there were also a lot of stuff to work through. It has made me realize what I need to be grateful for.

August Goals/Manifestations

This month I just want to enjoy my time at home, because I will return to Corvallis soon after it’s over.

With love,

Paige
